Formal Training

I have an account on FuelsTraining, but how do I register for a course?

All available DLA Energy Training Courses can be found by logging into FuelsTraining, then navigating to the Training menu, Formal Training Classes. Classes are broken down by Classroom Training, and Virtual Training. You will also find POC contact information for the DLA Energy Base Level Training Manager and Coordinator on this page, should you have questions. To register for a class, select Register next to the desired class. You will be asked to confirm your contact information, followed by providing additional information about your supervisor and Contracting Officer Representative (if applicable). Once you have submitted your request your supervisor will be automatically notified via Email. The Supervisor Email will contain two links, one to approve the request, and one to deny the request. Your supervisor does not have to have a FuelsTraining account to approve or deny your request. Upon supervisor approval, the request will then be routed through DLA Energy and the applicable Service Control Point for final approval. During the registration approval process you will have a Registration Status module located on your FuelsTraining Home page. Here you can see the progress of the registration request, and unregister if needed. Once the request has been approved by DLA Energy the Registration Status module will change to an Upcoming Class module. This module will provide you information about your upcoming class, and provide you a method to dis-enroll should you need to. As your class start date gets closer, you will receive more information, including a Welcome Package, from the DLA Energy Base Level Training Manager and Coordinator. Should you have any questions during any part of this process, you will contact the DLA Energy Base Level Training Manager and Coordinator.

I need a copy of my certificate, how do I get one?

All of your training certificates can be found in FuelsTraining by navigating to Training, My Training. The My Training page contains a history of your Formal Training Classes, and completed Computer-Based Training. To save and/or print a certificate, you will select Certificate next to the desired training item, which will open a preview of the certificate. From the preview screen you will select the Save icon (small blue disk) located at the top of the screen. It is recommended that you select .PDF. This will save your certificate to the desired location on your computer, which will then be accessible for Email and/or printing. If you do not see a record of training that you attended, please contact FuelsTraining Support with the dates you attended training.
